About Repa Dorje Odzer…
Repa Dorje Odzer (Justin von Bujdoss) was the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of New York Tsurphu Goshir Dharma Center, the North American Dharma Center of His Eminence Goshir Gyaltsab Rinpoche. The dharma center was open for five years from 2012 to 2017. In 2011 Dorje Odzer was empowered and ordained as a Repa by H.E. Goshir Gyaltsab Rinpoche at his seat monastery Palchen Chosling in Ralang, Sikkim. More of his recent dharma teaching and writing can be seen at his personal website: justinvonbujdoss.com.

I find your blog very interesting. I like the way you write in spontaneous way, meditative within the language. Practice in Buddhism is always more than reciting the Mantra. It is a way how we come face to face with our own emotion, not calm and balanced affect but difficult and uncomfortable feeling about our self. Bless your study with HE Gyaltsab Rinpoche.

Hello! May I ask what a Repa is?
A Repa is a practitioner of Tummo wearing only white cotton clothes being able to keep him-/herself warm enough without wool clothes usually necessary in the cold Himalayan regions like the most famous Repa Mila-repa!
Indeed. If I am anything, I am less than the shadow of the fortunate fly that lands on Milarepa.
I like your blog very much and am very happy that there are some people (you along with Lama Norbu Repa from France) who uphold the lay yogi repa lineage of Kagyu, it would be very worthwhile to revive this style of practice which is a Kagyu conterpart to Nyingma ngagpas here in the West and also in the East. All the best with you great blog, practice and dharma activity.

Thank you Ngakpa! I very much appreciate your kind words. I met Lama Norbu Repa in Sikkim last year when His Eminence Goshir Gyaltsab Rinpoche was conferring the Kagyu Ngak Dzod. We sat next to one another for most of the empowerments. The ngakpa/repa path is wonderful; it offers the opportunity to bring everything to the path.

not being a buddhist, I was looking for information about chöd. Reading several of your entries I got to know some of its meaning. But the most important thing for me was the way you can write about the preciousness of contact with a human being. Having a great resistance against dogmatic teachings of compassion, love, oneness, I tasted a fine substance unknown to me.
